Bonfire Block Party Banner

To our bonfire Block party family,

This letter begins with a round of applause. Not the applause from a crowd of happy concert-goers in reveling in the streets of downtown Eagle. No, this standing ovation is for YOU. If you’re here reading this, then you stuck with us throughout a pandemic-filled 2020 as we attempted to envision a new landscape for live music events in Eagle. Then, you stayed optimistic as we crossed our fingers, hoping 2021 would usher in the return of in-person gatherings with gusto. This optimism speaks to the spirit of the Bonfire Block Party itself, which is why it’s so difficult for us to be here today, with more disappointing news.

The continued revisions to local and statewide public health restrictions have made it impossible for us to bring you the kind of Bonfire Block Party we all know and love. The previously rescheduled event planned for June 4-6, 2021 is now canceled.

While this isn’t the announcement we wanted to share, there’s still reason to remain hopeful! Bonfire Brewing, along with our event partner Optimum Events, are working closely together on initiatives to produce alternative live music events on a smaller scale during the 2021 summer season. Details will be announced as they are available.

Individuals who still hold tickets purchased for the 2020 Bonfire Block Party should follow the instructions outlined on this pageTicket holders are asked to choose from two options: 1) Requesting a full refund or 2) Donating their ticket funds towards continuing support efforts following the tragic death of Bonfire Brewing co-founder Andy Jessen earlier this year in an avalanche. If ticket holders do not respond by July 31, 2021, the funds will be automatically donated. Amanda Jessen and the rest of the Bonfire family remain deeply grateful and humbled by this act of support from our greater Block Party Community.

Thank you for understanding this decision.

With Gratitude,
Bonfire Brewing & Optimum Events
